Description
Reverse Osmosis Plant
Reverse Osmosis is a water purification method that uses a semi-permeable membrane and high water pressure to remove dissolved minerals, heavy metals, and impurities from water as part of the desalination process. It generates both clean water for remineralization and a concentrate of impurities as a waste product.

How it works in game
This building functions much like a vanilla coastline water pump. It needs to be placed within 100 tiles of water. This means if you have polluted ground underneath the plant citizens will not get sick (like a water tower). However if the ocean is polluted, they will get sick.

This building is much more expensive to build and run than the vanilla water pump. But desalination has always been expensive.

Gold Coast Desalination Plant
The Gold Coast Desalination Plant is a reverse osmosis seawater desalination facility located in adjacent to Gold Coast Airport, South East Queensland. The plant became operational in February 2009. The project required an investment of $1.1 billion. And has a capacity of 133 megalitres per day. The plant draws in sea water from an off-shore marine intake, 1.5 km from the plant.

Sadly, it fails to load. No details are given by LSM.
Did you use some workshop or DLM specific assets
that you forgot to mention?

Yeah Loading Mod says this asset fails to load. Not sure why. Such a shame cause it's a nice looking asset.

Not sure if it's just me, but this doesn't seem to work with the latest Hotels and Retreats update.

Love it anyway, much better visually and practically than most available waterside pumps!

Very cool idea and well executed.
