---Please read the whole description before spawning it, it contain directions/settings to change---

Spearmint Tower. (Not based off any real tower.)

Standing at 603 meters with ~590 parts, it is now the tallest structure on the ppg workshop.
Now you may be thinking: 'hmm, this is a lie." Nope.

Now, I can't check the whole workshop, but after 2 days of checking (sifting through common search terms such as tower, building, tallest, tall, meters, 550 meters, 660 meters, radio tower, cell tower.) I am 95% sure it is the tallest.

Spearmint Tower breaks the record for tallest structure, displacing the previous record holder: "530 Meters fully destructible tower may be laggy" by Fleufy. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/profiles/76561198347614522/myworkshopfiles/?appid=1118200

I'm not trying to boast, I respect Fleufy's creation, it held the record for over a year.
But Spearmint Tower is a beauty, It took me 12+ hours of work. I'm pretty sure I spent more time spawning steel structs than building it.

Knowing that construction is more difficult with increasing parts and height, I think it'll hold the record for at least a hot minute, I hope it doesn't start another "building height arms-race". Its predecessor held a lengthy reign as a feat of engineering and architecture. I hope Spearmint Tower does the same...

However I am planning a taller tower soon (shooting for 650-760 meters...) No guarantees though.
I'm not starting a kilometer (1000 meter tower) project anytime soon, but I do have ideas and sketches for one, if I ever take on the task.

It also breaks the 600 meters mark. It is freestanding (no frozen parts, no indestructible parts/cable, no steel binding to the background, you can spawn it, and it will fall down.)

NO mods needed. Completely vanilla.

---How to use---

1. Turn collisions to continuous. This sounds weird, but because this is a freestanding structure, continuous collisions will prevent the steel base from sinking into the ground due to the weight and causing the tower to collapse.
2. Use 16 iterations, I haven't tested it on any other physics settings except on 16 iterations.
3. Spawn it like any other tower (base is touching the ground, not floating.)

---Other information---
1. Theoretically, it is destructible, but as most ppg players know, large structures are finicky, and will usually "spaghettify" itself when disturbed.
2. It is made of wood and steel, I abandoned concrete and bricks in the early stages of the tower's construction, Wood is heavy, solid, and easier to manipulate imo.

---FPS estimate---
I have a meh computer (GTX 1660, Ryzen 5 2600) and I get 30-40 fps on 1080p with this structure.

I'm making a 2km tower and it will become the tallest destructible tower in People Playgrounds, it is constructed using pin or Sun Mou, a technique that was used by ancient builders, this technique makes the building more stable in this game because it uses object collision to support the building instead of the unstable beams.
