btw you got crazy luck to get all that stuff early game, it took me over an hour of active searching with a car to find a welding mask, although to be fair I was pretty unlucky, how would you make it more costly without just making to cost of materials just absurdly high
My suggestion would be to either:
a) make the skill requirements be at least 6 or more
b) remove the ability to craft the repair kit, instead make it a rare item found in warehouses and such
c) all of the above
Ah I know how to make mods just a very lazy bastard.. I use to work part time for westwood studios back then. I did a bit of coding but mostly was just either tech support and or answering emails and setting up the props and all for the cast members (food, drink, etc)
best part of the job was having to meet all the cast members who played their character roles
glad EA did not have a say so who played who.. or else they would have made a huge mess of everything.
