Description
This mod makes the player visibility wider through a key this can be linked but for this you must download the mod and download the cfg file you will have to copy and paste in your autoexec.

Strange but you followed the steps ie unpacked the vpk and placed the addon and cfg files in their corresponding folders and from the guide you copied it to your autoexec.
