Description
DO NOT RUN THIS MOD AND YOUR VERSION AT THE SAME TIME!

Prices for the mod 'Vendors' so you can customize your prices without updates overwritting them.

To do so, you will need to upload your own version to the workshop

~Navigate to C:/user/users/Zomboid/Workshop
~Make a copy of the ModTemplate folder
~Rename the copy to whatever you want
~Open the workshop.txt with a text editor and edit the title and description
~Navigate C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\2824010776\mods and make a copy of the VendorsPrices folder.
~Go back to the ModTemplate - Copy folder, and navigate to ModTemplate - Copy\Contents\mods and paste the copy of VendorsPrices, delete the ModTemplate folder there.
~Open VendorsPrices folder and edit mod.info file using a text editor. Edit the name, if you change the ID, make sure you only add to the end of it, otherwise it might not load after Vendors and you will not have your custom prices or items.
~Then navigate to media\lua\client and open vendorsprices.lua, this is where you will edit your prices and add any other items you would like to be sold or bought. I have left notes inside the file to assist you.
~After your changes are made, open Zomboid and from the main menu click on Workshop, then Create and update items...
~Select the ModTemplate - Copy(that you probably renamed) and click next. Make sure it is not listed as hidden. Then click next, then click on this is a new workshop item, then upload it. It's the same process when you want to update the mod if you make any changes to the file after this point.
~Add it to your sever and you're all set.

I followed your instructions step by step. I managed to create my mod, deactivate your mod and then activate mine. The prices are the same and could you help me?

Hello, I subscribed to the mod and followed the instructions in the description, I made changes to the prices according to the instructions in the lua file and uploaded it using another name for the mod, I created a new multiplayer server and for the tester I left only the mod vendors and the new mod that I created according to the instructions, but the changed price was not applied, I don't understand much about mods so I can't understand what I have been doing wrong, the mod ID is 3178048924. Could you help me? For the test I just changed the value of a book to 10, just as a test.

@DERAUS You would subscribe to the mod and then edit the prices after it downloads.

Glad to hear it, don't hesitate to notify me of any bugs. I know there is a bug that will cause the mod to act as if brita is not loaded. It only happens when you reload either VendorsContextMenu.lua or VendorsPrices.lua. If I remember correctly it only happens when reloading one of those lua files, but I can't remember which. It will correct itself when the server or game is reloaded.

@Nine Iron

I resolved the issue, but I can't recall what was causing it. If I remember I will come back with an answer for you. Safe to say, it was likely user error, not your code. <3

@Captain Busket

I just opened a single player game using only those mods and it is working on my end. Can you confirm that it does this as soon as you load a game?

Are you reloading any lua files?

We're currently running into an issue on our single player test of this mod. That could be the issue in and of itself, but here's the issue at hand:

We know the price mod is working to a degree because it allows the selling of items from the JiggasGreenFire mod. However, when we look at the available attachements on the weapons vendor, it only shows a single choketube, and is ignoring most if not all of the Brita's Weapon pack items.
