Type 2 Socii ATGM-LS

The Type 2 Socii anti-tank guided missile launch system is the natural predecessor of the S22R. Same original design, hull and turret with some minor improvements here and there. However, where the S22R lacked range and any real use outside of the prototype the type 2 is equipped with 3 manual operation ATGMs. Boasting a range of +15km each and a deadly effect on target. The ATGMs are capable of destroying even the most heavily-armoured small grid vehicle with a single hit. The payload on-board the missile is even a threat to less well defended bases and large grid ships.

Designed for a crew of 2: Driver and Radio operator. Both seats can operate the ATGMs however, the radio seat to the left of the driver is the intended operator. Using the custom turret controller point the turret up and towards the target then exit the controller and enter 1 of the 3 ATGM control blocks. Button 2 will release the missile (ensure the main antenna is set to broadcast before hand) button 3 will prime the warhead and 4.. will go boom. As the ATGM has only 1 thruster you will need to aim above your target to account for the drop due to gravity. Manual detonation of the warhead will yield optimal results.
