Description
British Rail Class 91 Electric Locomotive

Description: Feel the raw power of the class 91’s traction motor as you etch the power lever slowly backwards and listen to its cooling fans roar, my most powerful locomotive yet utilising fan propulsion to enable high payload capacity at high speeds. It has a revised cab in a similar manner to the 158 V2 with tweaked safety system and easier to operate control characteristics. Running light it is a very overpowered train. Not to mention it similar electric supply to the later juniper modes (a v3 planned). Going with a wider and blockier design to enhance frames. The class 91 also has a twin; the class 90 (which is also planned). It’s fitted with the latest microcontroller and multiple working setup for people to play around with. Be always mindful when pulling off, as it’s braking isn’t as good as it’s very ’beefy’ propulsion!

Its twin, the class 90 can be found here for all you mixed good moving needs: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2835762285

This is a paintkit, this means you can download, paint, decorate, save as your own and upload to the workshop, please give credit for the initial build :)

Specifications:
Theoretical Top speed - 170mph and 125mph (blunt end driving)
Designed Top speed - 135mph and 110mph (blunt end driving)
E.T.S fitted (Electric Train Supply)
Standard C.T.S multiple working (Composite Transfer System)
Air brake supply for Mk4 coaches
Buzzer system for intercity 225 set
5 inf electric generators, 2 dedicated to power supply and 3 for traction motors
Revised DSD system (Driver Safety Device)

To drive:
1. Enter a cab and enter the walkway through the sliding door.
2. Open up the breaker cupboard and turn on the Transformer Box and Traction Motor breaker switches.
3. Go to the intended driving cab, then push and hold the Pantograph Up button until the Transformer Bus Fault Light goes out.
4. Turn on the master switch.
5. Select the desired driving direction with up/down arrow keys and press the reset DSD button with spacebar.
6. Release the brakes with a/d until the Brake Pipe needle reaches 0.
7. Set the appropriate lighting configuration.
8. Slowly apply the throttle.
9. (Optional if you are travelling with cars) Push and hold the E.T.S enable button.

To paint:
Try avoid changing anything on the inside as the train already has some decor, if you wish however you can do it, just be extremely careful what you remove and always test afterwards. For those painting the exterior, go nuts but again I advise painters to be careful around the cab sections as those contain composite blocks which are needed for the train.

Driving notes:
-Step 4 Braking will cut the throttle in a similar manner to DRA to avoid wheelslip.
-The top speed of the train depends on the number of cars connected.

Lighting configuration index:
1. Day lights
2. Night lights
3. Marker lights only

@HazzaG05

The unit uses fan drive as propulsion so no. Alternatively you could lower the environment sound slider which iirc should solve your problem

would it be possible to make a version without the sound that imitates the blower fans on the IRL locos?

Also, if the master switch on the lead car is pressed, then the master switch on the following cabs is locked, disabling the ability to unlock the doors and turn on the lights (unless i isolate the battery in the engine car which makes it un driveable)

Yes i have sent a friend request. The problem was due to the air supply or whatnot. I sort of understand microcontrollers and stuff but not to the level that you do xd, so i turned the ignore air supply toggle button to on in the workbench and that solved the issue. I would also like to add that the systems on the cars cannot be controlled from the engine cars, nor can the cars control each other, so to open the doors i have to go to each car and do that (and also go through the control panel on the cars one by one when spawning) and its just very time consuming. I would sugguest a better way of controlling the cars from the cab, or at least a way to open all the doors on one side from the drivers seat

MyGuyMan1 could you please elaborate further on the issue at hand? You can contact me on discord @ RMC#7563 since I’ve noticed you’ve also left a string of other comments on other Intercity 225 collection items

small problem, the wheels on the cabs continuously brake. No matter the speed setting unless the speed is set very very low. Ive had to go into the logic and outright disable the brakes for the cab because it just continously breaks and theres no button to stop it xd

The train has received a new power-plant as the old one has been patched by the developers, please update your builds to receive the supported build.
