Description
CRN Archer Class Guided Missile Destroyer:

The CRN Archer Class is one of the CRN's newest Destroyer designs, apart of the CRN's next generation warships the Archer is a highly technologically advanced warship. Housing 16 Missiles in 16 Launch tubes the Archer is capable of wreaking havoc upon all of its enemies. With a 5km targeting range the Archer can outclass almost all of its contemporaries in range and firepower. The Archer fields significant combat capabilities, and can maintain high levels of combat effectiveness. Equipped with the CRN's home grown Aspis point defense systems the Archer can perform nearly any task with a high degree of efficiency. Built to be a versatile combat warship the Archer does just that. Enabling the CRN to more effectively combat threats given the Archer's versatility.

Lore:

The Archer is a fairly new design, to the Republic. The need arose as the CRN realized it needed a multipurpose warship centered around combat, and support. The Navy's requirements for a next generation combat ship consisted of speed, agility, and firepower. The program that resulted in the Archer class was dubbed NGCV 2980. Commissioned in 2980, 5 years before the CRN commissioned the Mac Arthur class and her sister ships, The Archer proved to be quite the challenge for Republic ship designers given the advanced nature of her weaponry. Progress on the ship seemed slow, the hull itself was making good progress to being finished, and the custom built Aspis point defense turrets had already been installed by the 4 year mark. However the Longbow long range anti ship missiles were taking some time to procure. In 2986 the first Archer left its drydock in the Vega system. Within the following years the CRN procured several hundred more from its shipyards in the Vega and Draco systems, which were eventually all put into active service. By the outbreak of the Centurion Xeno war in 2990 the Archer was one of the most numerous ships in the CRN. Forming a massive part of the defensive forces on Beta Draconis, the Archer was able to lead massive missile strikes against enemy ships. Proving the invaluable nature of the Archer class among the Republic Navies ranks. At the outbreak of the war on May 22 2990 the Archer was among some of the warships that were apart of the first rapid response force as the unknown aggressors made first contact with CRN intercepting forces. Though the end result of the incident that would start the subsequent war was considered by many as a massacre, with only a handful of ships returning to port, along with the loss of the CRN's Ardent Moon a Beowulf class Cruiser and flagship of the 3rd fleet. The Archer classes present at the battle were able to hold off the unknown aggressors now known as the "bugs". Outnumbered and outgunned the Archers were able to stall "bug" forces just enough so that retreating forces carrying survivors could escape. And in the subsequent invasion of the Capella system dubbed "Operation Iron Fist" Archer class destroyers provided fire support enabling CRN forces and troops to land with relative ease. Through this the Archer has lamented itself as a tough and combat effective warship, and the ship you call to break down the door.

Authors Notes:

This ship is awesome, its been in my blueprints for a while mainly because I was still getting the missiles worked out, but also because I was debating whether to upload this, The Ship is actually based off of another destroyer from a friend, and the missiles also werent done by me lol. I did ask for permission to use the design for this ship https://mod.io/members/malchizedek the person mod page is here <--- thanks to them for letting me use their Falcon destroyer Design for this ship. And thanks to Simboulis for doing the missiles on my ship. There is also a plaq on the interior dedicated to everyone who helped with this project. I am really happy to have this ship finally uploaded. The guided missiles don't lock with the LAMP script so you will have to toggle between fire modes. There is a mini guide on the weapons officer seat in the main bridge. With another mini guide above ^^^. Link to my discord:https://discord.gg/ExkCSjtA Thank you to everyone who helped me on this project, and I hope that all of you enjoy!!

Swapping between fire modes doesn't work, just a heads up. In fact hardly anything works.
