The newest AI Overhaul update (0.90) might be to blame.
I have ran the map a few times on my end only getting stuck at the VCR loading screen once.
Everything seems to run fine once in the map. The crashing you're experiencing I believe is a slight compatibility issue or a bug produced by the AI Overhaul.
It should be noted I have no other workshop maps downloaded as well, maybe that could be causing problems for you as well.
