Description

Put the Trauma back in Barotrauma?

Europa Depths Trauma adds new monster variants as well as additional monster spawn events to bring more challenge to the game without causing performance issues or breaking the feel of Vanilla Barotrauma.

This mod entirely replaces the reandomevents_campaign.xml with a fully custom one to give a new and consistent experience. Due to this This mod should work with mods that do not override the reandomevents_campaign.xml such as BaroTraumatic.

@Zach It will work without the other two mods. You will find that it is significantly easier without Vanilla Monsters since its purpose is to cause select vanilla monsters to aggressively board the sub.

Are vanilla monsters and NPCS a hard requirement for this mod or just 'suggestions'? We're running europa war + barotraumatic + creature pack thus two areas are covered by mods we use already

@RAndy I have known about the description issues on some missions for a bit but haven't gotten to fixing them. Thanks for pointing out the exact issue. I just published an update that fixes them and adjusted the Charybdis_juvenile health. I didn't test this version as much as I normally do so hopefully I didn't miss anything.

In Missions_Dire.xml
MonsterMission identifier="killmoloch2" and "killmolochblack2" (and a lot of other) has no textidentifier tag. (You change identifier to a name that has no translation. Need to use textidentifier tag then. )

for Charybdis_juvenile probably need the same change? 0.7 health

@RAndy you may be right. I just looked and the default bonethresher has 300 health. It doesn't make sense that the smaller version has more health. It's damage is scaled to %75 of the larger version so I think it makes sense to scale it's health to %75 which is 225. I will push this change next time I publish.

It seems to me that Bonethresher_cave is unbalanced strong. It takes almost 20 shotgun rounds to kill him. (and they don't swim one at a time) 450hp with his good armor is too much. 200 would be enough. What do you think?
