Have you ever wanted to see where other players have died recently in Vermintide 2? Have you wanted to look up at the sky, and wonder, "How in Sigmar's name did someone die up there?" Perhaps you've wondered whether or not Kruber's words ring true, and that life really is hard everywhere.

This mod will show you the truth.


This mod adds bloodstains left behind whenever players die. The mod talks to a small database
that is the same for everyone. What this means is you will see bloodstains for all players, regardless of difficulty, career, or active mods. Of course, you'll also leave behind bloodstains yourself (unless you never die)!

You can also press the ping key while looking at a bloodstain to see a chat message describing who died to what!

No identifiable data is stored by this mod unless you allow it to in the settings. When you die, here is what the database stores:

• The current date/time
  
• The level you are playing
  
• The current difficulty
  
• Active difficulty mods (if any)
  
• The cause of death
  
• Progress through the level
  
• Whether or not it's a true solo or a duo run
  
• Your character's position in space
  
• Community Event code (if any)

Are you worried about performance, or just don't want to add any visual clutter to your games? You can set the number of bloodstains shown to as low as you'd like, even down to 0. That way, you would see no bloodstains, but you could still contribute to the community with your own deaths.

Use the /lifeshardevent command to change the way your bloodstains will appear when participating in community events.

Enable "Discord Integration" in the mod settings to have a Discord bot send a notification to the "VT Modded Community" server.

• The mod includes a configurable maximum number of bloodstains to show, with a separately controllable maximum for Fortunes of War since that map is so small
  
• Bloodstains are not enabled in the keep
  
• Variations of chaos wastes levels are considered the same level. What this means is that you are not likely to see all bloodstains for these levels since some of them will be in inaccessible areas
