Lore:
The Plains Ras'kaar evolved on the Tr'allanga home worlds surface, under the life giving shade of giant, ancient pillar trees.

But after the Tr'allanga species propagated the pillar trees to make the surface more liveable; the Plains Ras'kaar quickly spread across the planet; becoming a common prey animal for predators.

Biology and behaviour:

The Ras'kaar possesses a green exoskeleton and ears that resemble wild mushrooms; these allow them to blend in among mossy rocks and plants to avoid being spotted by predators.

These animals also have highly developed running limbs to out run predators and will often use their clawed feet to dig safe burrows; mainly to sleep in or birth their babies.

The diet of these animals consists of mainly grass and occasionally leafy vegetables.

Average lifespan of a Ras'kaar is on average 9-10 years, they grow to 2ft long and they become sexually mature at 2 years old.

And regarding reproduction; males and females will breed with random members of their own species during the spring multiple times; and after breeding males will not stay with females, instead they run off and continue to mate with other females; often as many as possible.

Pregnancy lasts for 30 days; once the babies are born the female will keep them safe in her burrow for 2 years; at that point they reach maturity and will leave to live on their own.
