Description
MOD Introduction
This collection contains three periscope-controlled drones: the general-purpose combat drone "Lumen", the nuclear detonator drone "Radiant" and the cave cooperation drone "Glimmer", In addition, the demo site also contains the drone installation method and several fancy stuff.

Note: This collection is for the purpose of demonstration, some data has not been balanced, the author is not responsible for any modifications to the drone’s logic component.

Drone Introduction

Note:For those using drones for the first time, it is highly recommended to first become familiar with drone operation in the demo site (Submarine Editor - Outpost Module - [ZS] Drone Collection Demo)

If you are using Performance Fix mod, please add following items and components to the priority list.

The general-purpose combat drone "Lumen"
Item number: 101
Weaponry: Tri-burst pulse laser
Features:
- The hold left click to moves when the drone emits a blue light, and fires when the red light is on, this drone will automatically hover, double-click to switch modes
- The drone can transmit sonar signals back to the mother ship to observe the terrain around the drone and to locate the drone

Combat drone demo:



The nuclear detonator drone "Radiant"
Item number: 174
Weaponry: Melt down blast of 21large reactors (reusable)
Features:
- When the drone emits a blue light, it can trigger a nuclear blast, and when it emits a red light, it cannot trigger a nuclear blast
- Double click to trigger nuclear blast, but it will be an 1s delay before a nuclear blast can really be triggered, double click again to cancel the detonation.
- - After a nuclear blast, another double click is needed to switch to move mode.
- After triggering the nuclear explosion, you need to return to the mother ship to recharge before it can be triggered again, the recharge will take about 2-3min
- - 700kw load will be added to the mother ship’s grid
- - If the power of docking port being cut off the reactor of the nuclear detonation drone will lose its durability rapidly due to immersion in water and will eventually lose the ability to trigger a nuclear blast. Reactor durability will be gradually restored after power is restored.
- The drone can transmit sonar signals back to the mother ship to observe the terrain around the drone and to locate the drone

Thanks to is ultra-devastating super blast, it can finish most of the task by a single double click

The cave cooperation drone "Glimmer"
Item number: 141
Weaponry: 1 pulse laser
Features:
- Can be operated in mother ship or in-field
- - Both operating methods is the same with the “Lumen” drone
- With automatic following capability, you need to manually turn on the switch on the mother ship
- - After turning on auto-follow, the drone will automatically follow human targets within the sensing range (range is about 16m)
- - Safety WIFI can be set up to prevent drones from automatically following people inside the mothership
- - - The blue lights on two sides of the drone will light up after the drone drives out of the safety WIFI range
- - When auto-follow is enabled, the drone can still be operated through the periscope on the mother ship and in the field, and the periscope's movement commands will override the movement commands of follow mode

uh, BTW i dont use the Nuke Drone anymore, i removed it, because i suspect it is exploding when an abyssal monster hits it....seems to have fixed the issue i had with it like ....as i removed it 3 months ago. No More spontaneous nuking of my own submarine when something rams it.

@RabidAvali (on Nov4th 2024) FakeFish ...made a change, partially my fault, that essentially makes the Drone Lights invisible... from Turret, because the Turret is invisible, i believe... i saw that with my own eyes.

i had issues with the light shining into my sub and i didnt know where it was coming from twice for 3 days, its annoying BUT they shouldnt have nerfed the lights, i asked them to reverse this, dont nerf the mod because us men are dumdums who forget to point the turret away from the ship, so the light doesn't shine in!!! so in essence, Fake Fish accidentally ruined the SearchLights on this mod.

@RabidAvali barotrauma update broke light system if you wanna light back you have to edit drone in sub editor, and uncheck "Hidden in game" Checkmark in every pulse laser cannon inside drone

Well i can answer you a few of your questions @LordDenda (Dendas)
1. Yeah these drones based on default game resources and count as shuttles so they are achiviement compatible
2. Drones with laser cannons use battery energy to shoot, they refill energy when they connected to the submarine via docking port, and energy on your sub must be turned on ofc.
3. You should know how to work in submarine editor, if you do then this is pretty simple task
4. Making drone components vulnerable probably just break drones and they wont work untill you buy a new one on Outpost.

Hello I have a few questions.

1. Are those drones achievement compatible?
2. How do I reload them? Is the loader located inside of the drone?
3. Is it possible to simply switch the laser gun for depth charge thrower?
4. I would like to turn off the invulnerability and interaction off. Will it affect the drones?

i apologize if this is a dumb question. how do i turn on the light on the drone? the lumen im driving does not have a light source it seems unless im simply not turning it on
