Description
This MOD is a Work in progress at the moment.
This MOD is for ROLE PLAYING and adding collectible items to an already awesome game.
This MOD adds electronic items that can be Dismantled or "Played" for leisure.
This MOD adds 5 retro game consoles, controllers for those consoles, and Video Games which can all be dismantled
This MOD uses (irl) In Real Life names for these "Video Games" and Consoles for Immersive Role Play.


Ok, So I was tired of waiting for the Super Nintendo by Erin Azakaela Redfire MOD to get fixed, which apparently is now abandoned. So I rewrote the Items and made it easy to add new items in the future.
All 5 Consoles have 3D models which you can place and rotate.
The consoles CONTROLLERS do NOT have 3D models attached to them and only appear as icons(pixels) in game.
Thee Gameboy does NOT have a controller for it is a Handheld Device and only requires (Gameboy+Game) to execute recipe (Play Game)

Recipes

-(Dismantle) I added this recipe to all electronic items in this MOD and made them use 1 recipe for each Group. See item_VideoGames.txt in /script/ folder.

-(Play Game) This still needs alot of work. Right now its NOT immersive at all.
(CONTROLLER + GAME) - This breaks immersion as it is able to execute anywhere.

I would like to make it a Requirement to be infront of CONSOLE and/or TV if possible, to execute (Play Game) Recipe with (Controller+Game) in player inventory




With all that said, the consoles are basically paperweight ornaments for now, or forever.
If there is intrest in this MOD I will add more games and work on getting this immersive.

Great and funny Mod. but waaaaay too many games in innapropiate places. I went to loot March Ridge military aparments, and every closet of every single room is full to the brim of... ¿videogames?

I guess the army like games too

The mod is great but the number of games that appear is absurd, even if you monify the objects that do not appear very frequently, you can find at least 20 games, and in mono apocalypse up to more than 60 in a single house. I see that I'm not the only one with the problem that too many appear. Thanks!

Ok, great mod and I'm not actually sure you are around anymore but if you are, it could use just a little work. To start with, most games could do with a weight reduction down from 0.03 to 0.02. Secondly, it spawning WAAAAAY to many! Every "kids" room shelving unit, every closet's metal smal and large metal shelf, EVERY OFFICE DESK is spawning upto 40 games! And not just in one place per house hold, thats every room with those shelves. There is way to much clutter with it. Thirdly, everytime you dismantle a gameboy game, zomboid plays music....

3DO System- Panasonic models were produced in 1993. Atari Jaguar- made it's first shipment in 1993. So both systems make the games timeline.

Not sure if it's causing it, but the game slightly drops fps randomly and it says in the logs it's constantly generating different games every now and then, will remove and test tho (on a dedicated server)

Love this! Even though the games work with the controllers, I don't mind, I just only use them when near my TV and console set-up. It really is such a great mod! Probably best on the workshop, but that's probably just cause I'm fond of older games. I myself have a Nintendo 64, PS-2, PS-3 and PS-2 Slim, however the Playstations are more my girlfriends. But I love the charm, ease, and simplicity of older games. Compared to a modern console it's so much easier to just plug and play. Anyways, thanks for doing such an amazing deed for the community, and making this awesome masterpiece!
