USS Polaris for humans

The original USS Polaris that Human characters could use disappeared from the workshop some time ago for reasons unknown to me. This mod attempts to bring it back for use.

The ship is quite big, so it might impact performance if you play on a hamsterwheel powered toaster.

The art contained within this ship is not mine, it belongs to the original author(s) [community.playstarbound.com] All i did was fix some files so they would direct to the human character race.

I know very little about modding starbound, so if there are any issues please let me know.


You can use it on an existing character !

First, remove any furniture thats inside your current ship, empty your ship's locker, as it will get reset.

Ask any crew you have on it to follow you, (if you don't they might get duplicated) then teleport down to a planet.

Navigate to \Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\storage\player and delete the SHIPWORLD file. (dont forget to make a backup first !)

Load up the game, and teleport back to your ship, if you did everything right you should now be able to play on the new ship.
