Description
[Stock Replacement] Siloship seamlessly replaces stock Siloship, preventing it from self-destructing in missions like Vesta Overkill.

This bug, aka Sillyship bug, can be fixed in four different ways (not counting a proper code fix):
  • assignig a military doctrine (AI) with a missile Attack Wing Size that is at most as big as the attached ammo bay on the missile launcher that has the least amount of ammo (for Siloship, the Devastator launchers have an attached ammo bay with 10 missiles each and the Striker Nuclear Missile launchers have an attached ammo bay with 50 missiles each, so the military doctrine using Siloship would need to launch salvos of 10 missiles or less);
  • exclusively for launchers that have attached ammo bays and whose ammo count is less than the military doctrine's missile Attack Wing Size, having at least as many launchers as there are missiles in the launcher's attached ammo bay (stock Aggressive military doctrine has a missile Attack Wing Size of 20, the only missile launcher on Siloship that has an attached ammo bay with less missiles than that is the Devastator launcher, which has 10 missiles, therefore Siloship would need to have at least 10 Devastator launchers);
  • depleting all the missiles before the ship enters combat (this option was pursued in Stock AI replacement and expansion, but unfortunately that doesn't work when running turns of 6 h or longer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOsUUXFx4Vk );
  • not using attached ammo bays on missile launchers (this is the option pursued in this mod).

Please unsubscribe from this mod before you export any campaign that uses Siloship, as this mod will parasitically attach itself to the exported version of your campaign.
