R E A D - M E

This map is part of a series of missions called Operation White Shark, if you haven't played the earliers missions please be sure to take a look on them, Operation White Shark has a story to tell (a simple one but it has) and avoiding early missions could make your experience less funnier. Check the "Story / Guides" in the first mission steam page for more information.

Its important to say that this is an remake. When i started this idea i didn't knew how to actually make maps and when i started getting better at this i decided to remake all old maps of mine.

Georgia Mountains

Secret Lab, Georgia

Briefing

General Thomas: Our sources were able to identify the location of a White Shark Industries lab in Georgia. As you may know they are supporting the South Ossean forces against the rebels. The problem here is that this factory may be producing chemical and bio weapons, these weapons will turn the tides of the war in their favor, our main objective here is to execute a raid in the lab and get as many intel as we can and also blow up that place in pieces.

Lab #1

As you can see in the image the lab is divided in two parts, one which contains the plants, machinery and the chemicals they are using to create the weapons, here we want to damage the pipes and plant explosives, in the other part we can find documents that could help us to prove they're doing this and also with some luck, find other labs.



Hostage #1

Big brother also sent us information about a scientist being kept hostage he is an important asset as he may know the location of other possible labs, try to bring him alive. The scientist is located in the area marked with and red X, be careful with explosives in this area.



Armoury #1

We expect to face heavy resistance both from Ossean fighters and Private security, here you can see their armoury, this is a very important part of the compound it would be good trying to keep pressure in that area so they can't arm their men with better equipment.



Barracks #1

Here you can see their barracks, since they work in shifts you can expect men sleeping or resting inside and probably also ready to join the fight.



Battle Positions #1 & #2

They have 2 reinforced battle positions in the compound, one is located in the north and the other in the east. They probably have a lot of men in those positions and they are of course heavily armed.





Lightbox #1

Since the incursion will take place during the night it is important to know how to cut their vision, the first lightboxes are located in the south part of the lab and they disable part of the lab, the kitchen and the main hall



Light box #2

The next light box is located in the north of the lab, and it is responsible for the lights of the office area.



Light box #3

The third light box is located inside the main building and this one is the one that can turn the other part of the lab dark and their storage as well



Light box #4

This one is responsible for the lights in their garage/storage area, where the hostage is located.



Light box #5

Last but not least the light boxes for the other office in the compound, since this is also an infill point it would be nice use the lights as an advantage

Based in your feedback i made some changes in the map, added a new fusebox for the search lights and fixed the wind sound! Ty for playin

One of the best maps I've ever played. Took me hours to complete at 3 stars. Challenging, hard, complex, well designed.
Incredible amounts of fun, and also every time one of my guys died it felt like my own mistake, not bu*****it.
If I may wish for one thing, I was expecting one of the fuseboxes to deactivate the searchlights

Pretty interesting map. Good looking, immersive and atmospheri, I liked the attention to detail. It gave me a bit of trouble to complete but I went with the SF boys and managed a decent run. The layout and geometry of the map combined with the amount of resistance was challenging, but the number of troops you can deploy definitly helped balance things out. It was still a pretty chaotic and intense gunfight! There was a couple ways you could approach and time the attacks and I loved that. Overall it was fun and on the harder difficulty side of things.

A couple things :

-Big kudos for the work you put in the briefing, I've never seen such extensive briefs before.
-The wind was way too loud in my opinion, you could barely hear the anything else. One or two wind sounds with reduced noise should be enough.
-Suicide bombers in toilets? hmm.. :D
