Flavor Pack: Celebrity

Description
Disclaimer: This pack requires the Custom Content Utilities (CCU) mod for most of its features to function. It should still be playable without that but you'll just end up with a lot of really weird NPCs that don't do anything exciting. Also at the time of writing you should make sure to get the 0.1.0 version and not 0.1.1 since the latter seems to contain a level generation softlock with paparazzi. https://github.com/Freiling87/CCU#readme

You're famous! What are you famous for? Doesn't matter, make up your own lore! The important thing is that this celebrity status brings some new twists to your rebellion that the usual resistance nobodies wouldn't get to experience. As far as benefits go you'll meet many fans wherever you go (most of which will gladly die for you), have access to luxurious vacation homes staffed with personal goons and just generally be made to feel superior to the riffraff. For the negatives however there are always the haters and the occasional psychotic stalker coming to turn you into the bad kind of headline. Plus clouds of paparazzi which can be annoying, but also serve as nice human shields in a pinch so... maybe neutral?

This pack contains 100 "new" chunks, the vast majority of which are either palette swaps or even just "replaced a single NPC with a fan variant" swaps so you won't see that much aesthetic variety but the new mod mechanics should more than make up for that with functional variety. Combine it with blah blah or use it by itself to blah blah you know this part.

New CCU NPCs:

Bartender/Shopkeeper/Feral Bear/Doctor/Cop/Nerd Fans - These always spawn loyal the player and the latter three will provide their services for free. Yes, that means if you have a doctor and cop fan on a floor you will have infinite access to healthcare and the laws no longer apply to you. Don't think too hard about how painfully realistic that is and keep playing videogames!

And yeah, some feral bears are really big fans of your work. Don't think about that too hard either and go download https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2625777505&searchtext=

Bouncer Fans - Similar to the above but they don't spawn loyal because that does weird things with the entrance fee mechanics. They will let you into clubs for free though!

Diehard Fans - Also similar to the above, with the addition that they all belong to a custom CCU faction (Faction 1, for any other designers) so will be aligned with one another as well and automatically hostile to haters. Can be hired to cause distractions, destroy property or commit heinous acts of violence. Very handy people!

Paparazzi - Are loyal to you like the fans and belong to their own faction (4), however they also have the killer robot AI so will immediately zip towards you and start flailing in your general direction which should be interpreted as "taking lots of pictures, asking lots of questions and generally being annoying paparazzi." Thanks to no-infighting they won't normally hit you or other paparazzi but the same isn't true for the unfortunate bystanders you lure them into.

Personal Goons - Unlike mere fans these are completely aligned with you from the start, which make sense because they're on your payroll. Can be found guarding your various vacation homes around the city and occasionally one will spawn as an escort at the beginning of a floor.

Haters - The blahds to the Diehard Fan crepes, these red jerks always spawn hostile to the player and share a faction (2) aligned against the fans.

Hatebots - Also a part of the hater faction, these robots are exceptionally slow but have an even more exceptional amount of health and hit really, really hard.

Stalkers - Unaligned haters that use the killer robot AI like the paparazzi, except they use it for its intended purpose and will absolutely try to kill you. They aren't as durable as the iconic original disaster but they do have more health than the average enemy and can appear anywhere, so stay alert!

Oh wait, yep, that second link looks even more familiar so that's probably the one. When in doubt always ask the bunny.

I think this is the guide I used: https://sugarbarrel.github.io/RogueLibs/docs/user/installation/

Hopefully that helps, if not I'd just recommend going to the official SoR discord since there is an active modding community that would probably be happy to walk you through the steps more directly. I'm technologically illiterate so the best I can do is just point to other people, still very new to installing mods myself.
