(unsupported) Khorne Chosen Warriors

This mod seeks to recreate Chosen very similar to those found in the Warriors of Chaos faction but in the Khorne roster. The stats are copied almost exactly from Chosen Warriors from the Warriors of Chaos faction, except being that they are Khorne's, I have tweaked them to be slightly more offensive and slightly less defensive than the Warriors of Chaos version (they also have frenzy, which the Warriors of Chaos versions do not).

They are recruitable from Tier 4 and Tier 5 buildings (Shield Warriors from Tier 4, Halberds and Dual Weapons from Tier 5). They can be recruited by your allies via allied recruitment (and you can recruit them from Khorne if you are allies with that faction). I have made their recruitment buildings Tier 4 and Tier 5 because although they are slightly weaker in raw stats than the Warriors of Chaos version, they are still some of the best melee units in the entire game, and they are arguably the best of the 8 new factions - as befits the Chaos faction dedicated to excellence in melee.

I have carefully balanced them on vanilla values. The stats from multiple other factions' top tier units were consulted to make these Chosen great, but not overpowered and definitely not game breaking. They also cost significantly more to recruit than the tier 2 variant Khorne already has, and their upkeep is roughly double the tier 2 units.

They will also appear in your garrisons once you build their buildings (only one of each unit, however).

Like the Chaos Warriors and other non-demon units, these are NOT recruitable by Demons of Chaos. They are exclusive to Khorne factions and their allies.

Lastly, these units will share and receive all buffs from Khorne technology and General skills that benefit the Tier 2 Warriors of Chaos units.

This mod is based on, and uses multiple assets from, "Chosen of Khorne" by Devon752. You will instantly notice this mod uses the same icons as Devon's, and it also uses his mod's battlefield appearance. This mod has been uploaded with permission from Devon. This mod can be added mid-game, but removing it mid-game after these units have been recruited may crash your game.
