The Wretch legacy allows you to play as a downtrodden outcast, living in the shadow of their past life. As a result of your trauma, you suffer from debilitating conditions that you must fight tooth and nail to overcome. Can you prove everyone wrong and take your rightful place among the ascended?

This is a challenge legacy. You must choose your weaknesses carefully, then exploit every technique available to mitigate them as you try to achieve a standard ascension. The challenges include:

• Work, Dream, Study, Explore or Talk is completely unavailable
  
• Despair, Visions or Suspicion is a permanent danger
  
• an Immortal Enemy or Reckoners are on your tail
  
• Time runs twice as fast
  
• raiding Vaults requires greater power
  
• and more…

If you have any suggestions for new challenges, I’ll consider adding them! I’d also love to hear which challenges have been beaten (update: workless+talkless been completed for the first time!).


Compatibility
This mod modifies a lot of the base game cards and processes, so compatibility will be limited, though you have a better chance if you are using the modern version of the game. In particular, it will not work with Achieve Integrations. If in doubt, please ask me about specific ones.

Issues
All three standard ascensions should be possible if you only choose a single challenge, otherwise it is not guaranteed. If you find any bugs or oversights, comment here or ping Laila#6390 in the CS discord, and I'll try to fix it as soon as possible.
