EMD E8: Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy

The Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad, commonly known as the "Burlington Route", was a pioneer in streamlined diesel locomotives, beginning with their Pioneer Zephyr in 1934. These E8 locomotives were a continuation of this trend, though a little less flashy than their earlier Zephyr cousins.

These locomotives feature standard elements of liveries from CBQ, from the heralding around the upper headlight, to the distinctive Art Deco font. Unique, however, compared to other locomotives are the metallic side panels, providing a brighter metallic shine than other railroads' E8s to match the streamlined stainless steel Budd cars of the era.

This pack includes six repaints of themeatballhero's fantastic E8 locomotives, 4 E8 locomotives numbered in the earlier scheme with A or B suffixed, 1 with a later normal numbering scheme, and 1 from the Fort Worth and Denver Railway, which was essentially a CBQ unit with "F W & D" in small lettering on the side.
