Description
This is it. The last panel-based car before I transition to blender OBJ files. This also just so happens to be my best build yet!
Do you like muscle cars that are looong, but have the bitter sweet imagination of what could've been if there wasn't an oil embargo knocking on it's door? Then the MM Javaro is for you! Featuring a cozy ride like... well, others, equipped with a detailed 255 hp V8, Solid 4 link rear axle, independent double wishbone front suspension with anti-rollbars, Fat tires, and a physique that isn't overcompensating for it's owner's lost youth.... or it's owners small balls.

=== BEFORE NOTES ===

- Let's not beat around the bush here, this probably won't run on most computers, but it is recommended that you play it on the Crash Test Site.
- This is a manual.
- Drives best on 2khz
- It has a usable interior!
- The Name for the car came from Minion Shaq, otherwise known as Grilk, formally known as Griz.
- The reason it sits so high up on the portrait is because of the support nodes that connect to the frame. They are very long, and form way below the car.

CREATOR'S NOTES

To be honest, I have finished this car months ago, but I never got around to uploading it. I already finished a blender based build, and now I'm on my next build. Anyways, about the actual car. I feel like this is a proper sendoff to my panel-based cars, even if it impossible to run on most maps. I based it off of an AMC Javelin, 60s Camaro, and bits of mustang here and there. I'm happy with what came out, it's not as flashy as my other builds, but it's not supposed to be. I intended this car to be more of a base model road car, so I made it simpler. I might make a sport model sometime later. As it crashes, this is absolutely the best crashing car I've made so far. It is squishy, but rigid enough to withstand a low mph crash. In conclusion, this is my best build so far and I am happy with the progress I'd like to say I've made over the years of playing this game.

Thank you so much for your support, a kind word is never wasted! Have a great day!

I create another file, copy and paste the outline, and section the removable parts, detailing each individually, while making sure they're all sturdy enough for use.

Phase five - Breakgroups and applying body panels

I apply each body panel by copy and pasting each upon the body, but making sure each panel is connected through a series of breakgroups and not directly to the cabin.

Phase six - tuning

The longest phase of them all, I make sure the car runs well and crashes well, reducing wobble and removing excess.

This is the way I do it. It's lengthy, but this method is actually a lot more efficient than doing it all on one file.

@StormPilot It was done in phases.
Phase one - Outline

First, I measure out dimensions and the wheelbase, as well as the wheels. This car's dimensions were based off of a AMC Javelin. I create an outline of the body, forming the shape using small golden ratio references to form decent looking proportions, while maintaining the theme of the car.

Phase two - Preview

I panel the outline and adjust little details towards my initial vision.
Phase three - Body

I copy the frames of the preview onto another file and develop a working frame and cabin. I make
sure it moves before anything else. The suspension must work, and the frame must be sturdy, also I add some little details on the interior and such.

Phase four - building the body panels

just wondering, how exactly was this done?
