Self propelled rescue outpost!

BBW Bushman

The Bushman answers the requests for a canopy roof on the BBW Medicman. This rain and sun shield provides moderate improvement to sleeping arrangement. So equipped the Bushman operator is better suited to camping between mission calls. Optional canvas curtains (not in game) complete the enclosure making the Bushman a mobile tent with a built in elevated sleeping platform with mattresses and a solid roof.

For navigation a GPS connected map is added to the dash. Using touchscreen controls allows zoom in/out, map sliding by touching the screen and a return view to vehicle function. Detailed tooltip users can access the GPS sensor’s exact data though the map provides useful displaying as is.

Supplies are slightly adjusted to have a fire outfit and a second fire extinguisher. First aid kits and basic user supplies are listed below.

Cost ~$15,300
Mass ~560

Top speed 125+ kph

Roll recovery:

With the canopy it may happen the vehicle comes out of a roll on its side. This is recoverable. To get out use jumping to clear the driver’s area or access the beds then the rear seats.

Then retrieve the mag all from storage. Move it by one of the rear corners. Put it on the cable connection there and turn its mag all on. This will be your “low side”. Run push at the vehicle to generate momentum. When the mag all cable goes tight keep at it and the “high side” should roll away from the “low side”.

For a Bushman already hitched to 1,400 L fuel trailer see:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2834599351

That was made for a land fuel delivery. You could also leave the fuel trailer somewhere as a way to refuel during later trips.

The Minuteman Rescue ATV it is based on is available at:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2830945813

Rather than beds the Minuteman has a parcel tray, more seating and more handhelds making it better at short term operations where the Bushman’s bed are more useful in long term situations. The Minuteman also has a transponder locator and transponder outgoing which the Bushman does without.

= The basis for the motion controller is from the OL 570R small ATV “engine and systems” by Olli_DXD as seen in:

Welder moved to be grabbable while still in the seat on the right side. While driving cross country sometimes bottom hits do enough damage to disable the seat. When that happens the throttle and steering are stuck where they are. Even if you get out of the seat it continues to operate as the damage prevents the "occupied" logic being updated. Being able to get the welder and repair in the seat lets you quickly fix the seat thus regain control.
