Description
This mod adds several new types of liquor, cocktail mixing, and other related items. Features unique recipes from books as well as mixing cocktails through evolved recipes (meaning you can mix your cocktail however you like).

Also adds trail mix, a non-perishable food that can use a lot of foragables and other foods that are normally not great alone (like cooked bugs!)

Mixing cocktails and trail mix improves your cooking skill.

Starting Guide
You will only start with a basic cocktail, a highball, which is made from one liquor and one fizzy drink (think rum and coke). To get more recipes, find one of three magazines. These can be found where cooking books can normally be found and in places like liquor stores and bars.

You can find the new liquor types in places where you would expect to find bourbon, like liquor stores, bars, and some homes.

Cocktails require the correct glassware to drink them out of, but finding the correct glassware should be relatively easy. The glasses can spawn in homes and places where the liquors are found.

Recipes
Adds several new evolved recipes for making cocktails with a variety of ingredients. Each evolved recipe requires a few specific things and glassware, but can otherwise have many different ingredients added from the base game.

Also adds several static recipes for specialty cocktails. These require specific ingredients, but tend to be a bit stronger in the amount of food, water, and happiness given.

  • Rum
  • Tequila
  • Vodka

Mixers
  • Bitters
  • Triple Sec
  • Seltzer

Future Updates
I plan on updating the mod in the future to add more mixers, more specialty cocktail types, and possibly mod integration with other mods (leave a comment if you know of any good mods that would work well with this one, and I will look into it.

Mod Compatibility
I currently do not know of any mods that are incompatible with this one. This mod modifies many of the base game items, but should modify them in ways that conflict minimally with other mods. If you find any mod conflicts, leave a comment with what mod it was and what bug you ran into, and I will try my best to look into it. This mod should be safe to add to existing worlds and new worlds, although you will either need to go into unexplored tiles or have loot respawning enabled to get the ingredients on an existing world of course.

having a similar issue with item stories keeps spawning empty zombrew bottles that take up entire building hiding zomboids inside

please take a time cose its very problematic with spifo ui, will take like 11 months to the update in the best case

@aquelarrefox That one is definitely on the to-do list, sorry! Zomboid doesn't scale all of the item icons to be the same size, so I have to resize the actual pngs myself. I was hoping to fix that along with some other more substantial update but I haven't been thinking about the game much recently waiting for the next major update.

please check the images of the items, im using spiffo ui and with the drink many of the items aperar enormus, for example the gin is fine but the others apperg gigant, could you fix it, its a minor thing but very ugly to fill the screen with it, the mod its quiet good

Thanks for the suggestions! Integration with Sapph's is something I'd definitely like to do. The spawn rate for the booze at least is the same or less than the base game's bourbon (some bottles are "rare" and spawn much less frequently) and uses the same locations. Maybe it would be a good idea to allow some config if you want to tune the modded booze and equipment spawns down. The loot tables are kind of tricky to balance...

Hi there.
May i suggest you to decrease the spawn rate of your items (since equipment and booze spawn in every kitchen), decrease trait point cost for "bartender" and maybe work on a patch for Sapph's cooking since it spawns some booze as well.

You would either make one of the static recipes like a Margarita, or an evolved recipe like a Highball. Try searching for Highball and make sure you have the correct glassware (highball glass) and ingredients (a bubbly drink and a liquor). All recipes are in the Cooking tab.
