[SP]Trial by Fire

Description
April 2035, British forces are about to spearhead a campaign to remove the Altian government, installed in a coup just months beforehand. The first step, to take Stratis. Due to the limited number of helicopters a small number of men will have to land, seize and hold the ground until further forces can be brought to bear.

Originally based on the ARMA II scenario of the same name this has evolved a bit, similar in style to the BI showcases. It's a short but enjoyable mission. Please leave comments and ratings. Thanks!

@Jona336 I appreciate you digging that out. I usually open missions with the UAV shot with the text at the top-left but I'll look into your method. :)

Thanks for the feedback, I'll bear it in mind, I kind of always intended it to be a longer mission with a bit of an interlude but in the end it didn't turn out that way. If I ever come back to it I'll extend it somewhat (I've got a lot more competent since then so I might be able to extend it a lot).

If you're using it replace JNA_TSK1_MRK with the marker you want to be focused on.

The beginning of the mission is very exciting. Action is quick and diverse (long-range then small team then CQC). However...

The ending of the mission kills it. Having to sprint 400m without any combat, dialogue, music, or anything is very boring. I can only imagine what a nightmare it was for players who expected combat and actually moved cautiously.
The last objective (link up with whohowever) didn't register as complete. I don't know if it's because you called the win fuction in the same trigger as completing the objective or what, but you should make sure setobjectivestate "Success" comes before the win function.

In the opening UAV shot, how did you get the green square and Girna's name on-screen?

I enjoyed the A2 mission of the same name and enjoyed your rendition. Thank you.

I too have a SP Trial by Fire of my own. I created it with A3 map pack and reused Utes. No originality but I have always like that mision. It is not polished enough to release on Steam. Kudos to you.
