fun map, but it needs more color.
Well you did a great job.
I like how you eliminated the tedious beginning of the map by putting a forward checkpoint for those not wanting to spawn at the airbase. The optimization and better frame rates are definitely welcome, as is the smoothing out the grossly exaggerated terrain of the original.
Couple of things I hope you consider:
- Check the map for a couple of ridiculously deep holes that bots can get stuck in. Certain they were accidentally overlooked during the making process.
- Could most courtyard walls in the main part of the city have 2 entrances or be a bit lower? The crazy urban battles of the original Al Basrah map seem to have been replaced by a bunch of bots just running right by the enemy because they don't see each other while in the city. Almost all the fighting now happens outside the city
