Nous sommes en 2040, au pôle Nord, où les glaces ont fortement fondu dû au réchauffement climatique.
Un virus préhistorique a fini par être libéré des glaces et un laboratoire secret de la fondation Scorpion-7 est parvenu à le récupérer pour l'étudier dans le but de créer des armes biologiques, mais un accident arriva et le virus contamina le laboratoire.
Heureusement la base étant isolée en Arctique le virus ne s’est pas propagé.
Cependant la fondation s’inquiétant de ne pas avoir de nouvelles de leurs scientifiques dans la zone arctique, une équipe militaire fut envoyé sur place.
Ceux-ci découvrirent des hommes morts-vivants à l'apparence monstrueuse.
En voyant ceci les soldats de Scorpion-7 ouvrèrent le feu et la base fût scellée.
Les ordres de la direction de l'organisation étaient clair à la vue des vidéos prises par les soldats : capturer vivant au moins un des infectés et plusieurs échantillons des lieux.
La mission fût accomplie mais au prix de nombreuses pertes.

Un scientifique infecté fût capturé et envoyé dans un autre laboratoire de Scorpion-7 au Yukon où le virus fut isolé en laboratoire.
Les tests sur le virus commencèrent alors sur les cobayes humains kidnappés par la fondation dans une prison à proximité.
Lorsqu'un détenu revenait des expérience il était faible, puis quelques jours plus tard ils grognaient, devenaient agressifs, et la fin était toujours la même : une balle dans la tête.
L'inquiétude se répandit parmi les prisonniers, jusqu'au point où ils se mirent à préparer une évasion.
Lors d'une promenade ils attaquèrent les gardiens par surprise.
Les prisonniers-rebelles prirent rapidement le contrôle de la prison et commencèrent à libérer les détenus qui avait été sujet des tests de la nouvelle arme et ce fut alors le chaos :
Les sujets commencèrent à attaquer les prisonniers, dans la panique la prison fut abandonnée, et les infectés étaient alors eux aussi, dans la nature.
La majorités des survivants de la prison moururent de froid...

We are in 2040, at the North Pole, where the ice has melted considerably due to global warming. A prehistoric virus was finally released from the ice and a secret laboratory of the Scorpion-7 foundation managed to recover it to study it in order to create biological weapons, but an accident happened and the virus contaminated the laboratory. Fortunately, the base being isolated in the Arctic, the virus did not spread. However, the foundation being worried about not having news of their scientists in the Arctic zone, a military team was sent on site. They discovered monstrous-looking undead men. Seeing this the soldiers of Scorpion-7 opened fire and the base was sealed. The orders of the organization's leadership were clear from the videos taken by the soldiers: capture alive at least one of the infected and several samples from the premises. The mission was accomplished but at the cost of many losses.

An infected scientist was captured and sent to another Scorpion-7 lab in the Yukon where the virus was isolated in the lab. Testing for the virus then began on human guinea pigs kidnapped by the foundation from a nearby prison. When an inmate came back from the experiment he was weak, then a few days later they growled, became aggressive, and the end was always the same: a bullet in the head. Concern spread among the prisoners, to the point where they began planning an escape. During a walk they attacked the guards by surprise. The prisoner-rebels quickly took control of the prison and began to free the inmates who had been subjected to the testing of the new weapon and there was chaos: The subjects began to attack the prisoners, in a panic the prison was abandoned, and the infected were then also in the wild. The majority of the survivors of the prison died of cold... Now it's up to you to survive and discover the secrets of Little Salmon!
