Description
Vending machine that sells consumables, tools, and most important: The Engineer Plushie!
This is a QOL mod and also one that brings some utility to the vending machine and Space Credits in a single-player or small multiplayer game

Note: It adds a vending machine it does not replace the one you already have or using

Why
I rarely use the economic system because to find something I need, I have to go to multiple stations, and by the time I can go to multiple stations, I already have a capital ship with all the resources I want, so I don't need anything they sell.

That is unless I start on a moon (rare in my case) where the distance I can go with just a few oxygen bottles and hydrogen bottles, or a very rudimentary small craft.

The idea is to give you a reason to, at least, take a mission or 2, or sell some stuff at the closest station to get some SC

Item it sells
-The Engineer plushie
-Datapad (they do not have any GPS location)
-The Medkit
-The Powerkit
-Level 2 and 3 tools (welder, grinder, hand drills)
-Basic rifles, rapid-fire rifle and precision rifle and their ammo
-Oxygen bottles (Empty)
-Hydrogen bottles (also empty)
-Organics
-Uranium ingot

Reason for these items
In general, it's because I don't like to keep a bunch of those items in my inventory. When I need them I don't have time to build them or go buy them at a station. With this, I can put a few around the base and they serve more of a purpose than as just decorative items.

Or in the case of uranium, it's for an emergency power up of a craft or to recharge it. (it is very high priced)

As for the organics, I often play with the mod: "Eat. Drink. Sleep. Repeat!" and some of the time I start on a planet that has no organics (moded planet). So it's a way to get some of them

Note: I sell the second tier and third tier but not the last tier tools, that is on purpose so as not to make the mod overpowered
you will still need to find platinum or buy them at a regular trade station for them.

The Price of the items is fixed and higher than the ones in an NPC station. It's the price to bring the items from the closest NPC station to your station or ship.

Sorry rev. I realized my mistake. It was taking the credits out of the players wallet not inventory. Mb

@Simple Giant can you be a bit more specific: what items are you trying? I rechecked if it was working and the price of the items was being subtracted from my account.

I also tried multiple faction scenarios, the only time it did not work for me was when I transferred it to a hostile faction. then I could not buy at all (that is normal since the access was blocked)

You may have a corruption in your downloaded files. Try to delete your downloaded version and reload it and see if that works

the default path for the mods should be here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\(Your Steam ID number)\

I found a problem, the vending machine dosnt seem to be charging me for the items

the <ID> is a store entry ID and basically just a random number.

i don't think you can use this mod as you base mod then. i tried to make it buy stuff but it became bugged.

If you take the normal vending machine from the DLC it can do what you want i think

This mod is really just a vending machine that sell fixed items at a fixed price
you can add more stuff that it can sell at whatever price you want but it can be very much OP that way.

I have a question, I want to make my own vending machine, who would I add items I want to sell to people. I dont know what the <ID> part is per item
