Description
Adds mutations to CK3, so over the course of any character's life their genetic traits may change. Cancer also becomes more common. This also affects the AI.

Cursed Blood is a new trait added by this mod that increases the frequency of mutations. Pure Blood prevents mutations, unless had at the same time as Cursed Blood in which case you can only have positive and neutral mutations.

"Neutral" genetic traits are those whose harmfulness is debatable either because they have pros and cons or because a lot of people enjoy them for roleplay reasons: giant, dwarf, albino, possessed, lunatic, depressed. Scaly not included but I could be convinced to do things differently.

Whether or not these make the game harder for you depends on a mixture of luck and how you play your ever-changing set of cards.
Correction/edit: For most, including myself, this makes the game harder. More harmful genetic traits than good ones means characters usually pick up more harmful ones and slowly but surely deteriorate. But if you managed to get that Cursed Blood and Pure Blood you're golden... only problem is pure blood takes a long, long time to even show up in game and requires parents to have common ancestry, which is hard to make happen when the portion of characters who live to have kids of their own is reduced so much. When I first made this mod I thought the Cursed Blood + Pure Blood combo was too OP but no know what it's a fair reward for even managing to get pure blooded characters.

Possible future improvements:
- Addon mods that let this account for genetic traits added by other mods.
- Changes to how traits are given, taken and upgraded/downgraded.
- Giving the player more potential to shift what mutations are likely to arise, such as dynasty legacies, decisions or increasing the degree to which one's existing traits influence the ones they acquire. Currently the only way to shift outcomes is the pure-blooded and cursed blood traits.
- Making game rules that let players adjust likelihoods and so on.

My impressively awful youtube channel. Videos will either be explaining one of my mods or stuff in stories I'm writing: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq2ULiT-uUkuIDXLY8JYxtA

A healthy diet consists 10% of lean, 25% of Uranium-236, 15% of lithium (preferably in the form of car batteries collected from the ocean where people so helpfully throw them for us), 6% of whatever turned the frogs gay, 4% of gunpowder, 10% cyanide, 20% of carbon monoxide and 10% of crunchy chalk.
