So I've decided to share this mod as it brings much joy to me when I play sog prairie fire or any unsung map, now my biggest pet peeve with unsung and sog prairie fire is that it's mainly for multiplayer use so when in a firefight you will hardly hear units speak or react to things if not ever, even when placing the "ambient voices" module it doesn't fix the issue.

After speaking with someone who has worked on the unsung mod I've also come to learn that they have removed most voice lines for a better multiplayer experience during combat and I get it, it all makes sense I guess it's annoying to some degree, but what about those who only play singleplayer? or spend most their time creating a sandbox only for them to enjoy? here's where this mod fixes that.

Wait no, units in unsung and sog prairie fire have voice lines what are you talking about? - YES they do "ambient voice lines" however during combat nobody speaks, in the recent unsung updates they've also removed the whistle you would hear when engaging Vietcong few of you probably knew this but yes they used to blow a whistle.. this mod brings it back and more!

🎖 Unit Voiceovers now 🎖

🎖 Reacts to grenades.
🎖 Reacts to friendlies being killed.
🎖 Reacts to spotting an enemy.
🎖 Reacts to confirming a kill.
🎖 Reacts to being killed and more.
🎖 Reacts to reloading firearms.

Things to note
- This mod is not the original and has been edited by myself to get the experience I think is missing for the Vietnam theme, it is for use with either the unsung mod or sog prairie fire DLC

- Addon configuration, make sure to disable UVO independent and UVO blufor // "Enable" UVO Opfor.

if you wish to use blufor go ahead I did include a few voice lines but my attention was mainly on Opfor and the focus was on re-kindling the voice lines for the Vietcong and NVA. mainly the whistle when engaging the enemy you will be surprised with how immersive it feels, you can also use other voice-over mods in conjunction for Blufor like dynamic shouts as it works well together

Please rate, thumbs up, comment, Subscribe! and most of all enjoy! 🎖

This is fantastic. There's no way to add radio protocol lines eh?

Awesome. Does this mod require SOGPF dlc? Or is it fine to use it by itself when playing with only UNSUNG?

I'm guessing this is also compatible with RHS+CUP Unit Voiceovers since this mod only affects UNSUNG+SOGPF Units.:jake:

I just tested in MP and it works fine. I don't know if the callouts are properly sync but I'd be happy to help script that if needed.

The unsung PAVN voices were great, whistles are dearly missed too. Thanks for making this up. Is it usable in MP aswell?
Still, great work, makes me feel a bit of nostalgia hearing those sounds again.

Thank you. I actually really prefer this to the ambient voices. The "ambient" ones have some basic context sensitivity but often wind up not making sense and getting repetitive. I'd wish they'd make the lines a little more generic and added more context triggering for them.
