International 9900i Essentials (Update 1)

Description
NOTE: I'm not a pro modder, modeler, or anything of the sort so this isn't super polished or user-friendly when you customize the truck. If don't know where something is, just select all the nodes and run through the accessories to familiarize yourself with what's what.

UPDATE: Added larger mirrors to the stock hood mirror option. Added cord and mic to CB. AO baked interior textures, added storage shelves in the sleeper next to the bed and adjusted color for more accurate and appealing appearance in the 72" sleeper. Added CB, shifter, and PTO switch to daycab. Added airlines mounted to cab (note: currently you can't take them off once you install them). Eagle Classic steering wheel, and Eagle Premium wheels remastered with better chrome and normal mapped logos. Glass deflector was scrapped and an all-new glass deflector made from scratch replaced it, reflections are proper and the design is accurate to those seen on the 9900i IRL. Fixed visor UV map. Mapped reverse lights on the 72" and 51" sleepers. And of course, added a battery box and APU!

Currently most or all of this pack is based around the 72" sleeper. I have extensive plans for the mod, but little time, I appreciate your patience.

This mod is a work in progress, but adds some rather essential accessories and options to the SCS 9900i.

Features
Interior
-Owner Operator ( 72" ONLY adds additional gauges (for looks) to empty part of dash, adds Eaton Fuller shifter & CB radio)
Hoods
-Split Windshield W/ Air Dam
-Split Windshield Aero Top (v2)

Main Mirrors
-Chrome W/ Blinker

Hood Mirrors
-Large Chrome

Side Deflectors
-Tall W/ Spotlights

Sideskirts
-Uncovered Def Tank w/ rear tool box (no-one cares if you don't like def)
-step chrome (deletes front def tank, only has step on rear frame)

Tanks
-300 Gallon W/ Step (fordward mounted w/o tool box)
-300 Gallon Rear W/ Step (mounted under sleeper w/ step)

Functionally the biggest additions are the spotlights on the sleeper fairings (for reversing at night) and the large chrome hood mirrors, which are far easier to see blind spots with. To a lesser extent the main mirrors now have a w/ signal option which adds functional signals to the mirrors (note the positioning of the mirrors is different than default as I do not use a seperate model for interior/exterior, it is correct aspect).

There are a couple modifications for aesthetic such as the option for a 300 gallon tank set forward with steps, make sure to choose the appropriate sideskirt to keep from clipping the two accessories. There is an option to use the sideskirts with the exposed def tank on the 72" full sleeper instead of just the daycab, however this modification adds a tool box behind the tank. There is an option to add steps to the rear-set 300 gallon tank. There is currently a behind-the-cab exhaust mount option which adds dual stock pipes behind the sleeper, eventually a single pipe option will be added.

Some features are planned, but the goal of this pack is not to increase the "custom" potential of the truck but rather to add more commonly seen work accessories to it. I have no plans to make any sort of "custom" accessories.

REALISM:
Console: 'g_hshifter_synchronized 0' will give you an unsynchronized gearbox for the best experience to master your shifting skills, also if you're lazy it does enable you to float your gears!

If you need a good set of Alcoas or Accurides to go with your rig make sure to look up Smarty's Wheel Pack (SCR Wheel Pack), also strongly recommend Real Eaton Fuller Transmissions mod. My author of choice for engines is ZM. If you want something free check out Slav Jerry or Kriechbaum. There's a few good physics mods out there but with all the beta's I've been running I'm sticking with stock SCS.

I agree. SCS blames the factories that build these trucks as they come up with some restrictions that in some cases may sound just plain stupid. Having a split windshield and even possibly having an option of moving the wipers from the bottom to the top.

The computer the 5600 was on is no more sadly. If anyone wants to edit the mod and reupload you're more than welcome to, its not locked or anything.

As for the windshield divider its a specific option, one of the air dams. We really should get SCS to implement the option as a vanilla feature imo.

5600 coming soon?

Hey. What happened to the windshield divider on this truck? I miss it. We also need to do the KW W900 as well.

There isn't one, I never learned how to unwrap meshes properly so I've got no idea how all that works.

Is there a png image for the aero tops for skinning? I’ve combined your mod with the 9900 tuning by 55six to make myself a cool truck and wanted to give the aero top like aged look to it.

When I eventually get back into ATS sure. Been pretty satisfied driving a 680 irl though so got burnt out on ATS for the time being.
