also it'd be nice if there was an extra config option to put a cap on the knockback weapons do, since there can be some that still deal way too much.

this feels like it only applies to true melee weapons. please make it apply to everything otherwise there's little to no point in using the mod.

It would be nice to have a config for it to be on globally instead of requiring an inventory slot

And useful for challenges

I don't have that mod. I can list the mods with configuration options that I do have if you want?

The issue is caused by a config option from the mod CoolerItemVisualEffect.

Disable all the ActionStyle options at the end of the Slashing Visual Settings config for that mod. They don't do much anyway.

okay, there might be an issue. As in it doesn't do anything... I've got it set to 0.1 because I want enough knockback to stunlock but not enough to send enemies careening off screen so that I can't keep attacking them. But it seems to matter what I set it to, the game just ignores it and the knockback is still there.
