US forces lie on a islet nearby the disputed island of Veliki Školj. Planning to strike near sunrise, they, along with their RHIBs, wait patiently for dawn. As the sun breaks above the towering walls that lie in the middle of the island, the Army men and women climb into the sloshing boats and turn the ignitions

No turning back now.


In 2025, the island of Veliki Školj were officially claimed by Bosnia And Herzegovina, and subsequently went through an aggressive infrastructural development, doubling it's size and allowing it to sustain human life via shipments of supplies sent by helicopter. However, Bosnia needed a southern military base to help dispute it's borders in any future conflict, so it began Operation Brzo Izgraditi, permitting the construction of a small military base in the island, neighboring the wealthy district.

In 2027, a small coup took place on the island, as the poorer, nationally Croatian fishers and laborers stormed the the far richer district, causing a house to be demolished with crude explosives, killing 2. The coup was immediately shut down by the Bosnian army, leading to the deaths of a dozen lowerclassmen. However, the majority of the Croatian civilians were able to flee into the dense forest in the middle of the island, causing the army to not be able to tell who was involved in the attack and who wasn't upon going to each village. In the following months, the upperclassmen formed the Zabrinuti Građanin Party, instantly becoming the ruling party in the small canton. Subsequently, the construction of a several hundred meter wall, accompanied by 2 permanently occupied bunkers was authorized, splitting the island, both physically and socially, into 2. From this moment onwards, the culture of the 2 sides of the wall went into opposite directions, both slowly building more hatred for the other side. The lowerclassmen were quickly tasked with both providing adequate food for the upperclass, as well as constructing a series of gas containers, followed by a drill, to exploit the islands rich supply of gasses. They were told to build them outside of the wall to, "Protect the sovereignty and security of the Inner Wall Citizens"

By 2030, nearly all of the gas containers were finished, but the last one was left suddenly unfinished. After a week, the Zabrinuti Građanin party decided to send a dozen soldiers to cross the wall for the first time in nearly 3 years to see what was happening with the construction of the Gas Containers. To their shock, the towns were abandoned in their entirety. At the same time, the group of now radicalzied peasants had already left the island in a fishing boat, towards the mainland. Over the next month, while the soldiers back on the island were left wondering how half the island had left without them realizing, the Croatian lowerclassmen had crossed the border into Croatia, blaming their leader for not intervening to help them in their situation at all over the last 3 years. In the next week, they were able to storm the capital with crudely made rifles, killing the guards and shooting the Croatian President, Eduard Husnjak.

Upon his death, the lowerclassmen inside of the capital building were surrounded by the quickly mobilized Croatian army from the outside, upon which they all commited suicide inside of the capital, having rather die by their own hands than the hands of another man. Upon discovery of a Bosnian Passport in the back pocket of one of the insurgents, Croatia immediately blamed Bosnia for the death of their leader. Bosnia, not wanting a war, revealed that the terrorists were from the island of Veliki Školj, and offered Croatia the island for themselves.

Croatia begrudgingly took the offer, but upon arriving onto the island, was shot at by an unknown force. After a series of radio communications with the Bosnian Chief of Army, Senad Mašović, it was learned that the island had radicalized itself, not only in the lowerclass, but in the upper as well. The Nationalist Bosnians on the island refused to be handed over to Croatians, and used all present supplies to fend off the Croatians on the beach, killing all of them over 2 hours. Croatia then prompted the US to intervene and neutralize the island of the nationalists. The US agreed, and sent the Company B of the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division to assist.
