Gooey’s moveset is heavily based around tounge-twisting action and classic Copy-Abilities. From Tounge-Whipping, Tounge-Twisting, to even some Tounge-Spiking Gooey will make the most out of his only viable limb. While his Strong and certain Special attacks use some of Gooey’s Copy Abilities!

Gooey performs the trademarked Sir Kibble artform of the Cutter Boomerang: Gooey can use Nuetral Special to throw out a Cutter Gooeyrang that will fly forward before coming back as any good Boomerang would do, but if Neutral Special is held while it's still out it will charge up and become stronger!




Gooey fires up using the Burning Ability as his Forward Special! Gooey flames up before blasting forward, typically the move wouldn't send you far but if press Forward Special during the start-up once more you'll take off further forward and deal much better knockback! But becareful because if you miss your target in this state you'll burn out and go into pratfall.




Gooey's heritage is one of the weirder things about him... he adapts into a form much like his kin, as he boosts himself upward before going into pratfall. A rather safe and basic recovery that's just meant to give Gooey another boost.




Where Kirby inhales, Gooey will swallow! By pressing Down Special near an opponent, Gooey would be able to swallow them into his mouth and spit them out either forward or behind him depending on the direction he's facing.




The real kicker is that you can swallow a Cutter Gooeyrang and spit it out in any three directions of either up, infront, or below! Though it does lose it's Boomerang properties as a result, somehow?




Gooey uses the Ice Ability for his Forward Strong and performs a frosty blow! The first few hitboxes act as a multi-hitting attack before blasting enemies away.




Gooey uses the Spark Ability for his Up Strong! Gooey becomes weaponized blue ball of electricity, jumping up before dealing damage by zap.




Gooey uses the Stone Ability for his Down Strong! He goes upward like his Up Strong, but slams down for the attack. There's a hitbox during the falling portion of the move and Gooey is even capable of moving left or right during the charge of the attack.
