To refresh your subscribed items, restart your game, or, from the main menu, click on the workshop button, close the steam overlay, and click yes to refresh your subscriptions. Your subscriptions will not be auto-updated with this list, you will have to re-subscribe to it every time new maps are added if that is what you want.
