Description
UPDATED WITH THE NEW WHEELS

-----------GENERAL INFO-----------

Lucky No. 7, a Class C Shay Locomotive used by the Lumber Division of the fictional JD Logistics Company, is a locomotive designed to haul lumber up steep slopes, thus the relatively low speed and high torque compared to traditional steam locomotives. This locomotive has a top speed of 30 mph (48.3 kph) only achievable through the use of the working Johnson bar, (although with a longer train it may struggle to fully reach this speed)

-----------STARTING THE LOCOMOTIVE-----------

1. Prime the injector by turning on the water pump and increase the injector lever to 0.2 until the water level in the boiler increases, once it does increase, lower the injector lever to 0.1 - 0.12

2. Fill the firebox with coal, and increase the firebox air lever to 0.49 - 0.5

3. Light the Firebox using the "Ignite Firebox" button, keep the firebox full of coal.

-----------LOCOMOTIVE OPERATION-----------

1. Once steam has built up, you can increase the dynamo lever to your lights on.

2. Put the Johnson bar all the way forward

3. set the brakes to 0

4. Open the throttle slowly

5. Pull the Johnson bar towards neutral (.4 is fastest with no load) to increase speed and efficiency with more load. You may need to push it forward with higher loads in order to get the best speed (further away from neutral = more torque, further towards neutral = more speed)

6. Modulate injector pump between .09-.12 depending on how much steam you are going to use

7. Remember to keep the firebox stoked with coal

-----------OTHER INFORMATION-----------

- Putting the Johnson Bar behind neutral allows you to reverse

-If you enjoyed this creation, please give it a thumbs up on the steam page, and leave a comment for any suggestions, or if you have any questions or concerns (no i will not put the units in metric, JD logistics, although fictional is based in the US, and thus uses the units appropriate to such [except pressure because I have no clue what units Stormworks is using] )

-do not use any parts of my creations without my permission

-Have Fun!

funnily enough the shay i based this on had a centered boiler

love it, however one issue is that the boiler is centred, in the normal shay's you will notice that the boiler is off to the side, other than that amazing
