SEPTA Philadelphia - AM Rush

This SEPTA map covers the ex-Reading Railroad territory from downtown Philadelphia to the suburbs north of the city. This simulation is strictly based on the December 2019 SEPTA timetable with very small changes made to adapt it to Rail Route.

From 30th St Station, the 4 track mainline begins to split off into various lines: Manayunk/Norristown (Allegheny), Chestnut Hill East (Wister), Fox Chase (Olney), West Trenton (Noble), Warminster (Roslyn) and Lansdale/Doylestown (Fort Washington). Heading to the left out of 30th St Station, the ex-Pennsylvania Railroad lines head off map at either ZOO interlocking or University City.

Starting at 5:15 AM, the traffic is light but begins to ramp up to it's peak between 7:30 to 9:00 AM. Every Septa train on the system travels some part of this map during the time period. Many trains originate and terminate at Powelton and Roberts Yards at the beginning and end of this simulation. You should expect trains with just one car (LPL) to reverse back at either Suburban Station or Glenside. Some parts of the territory are fairly straight forward but managing the major junctions is critical. Most of the schedule is very tight and will not allow for any major dispatching mistakes if you want a perfect score. Make sure you don't block those inbound express trains to Temple with locals!
