Engineer Platform

Description
This is small atmospheric platform that helps engineer to work at height. It's perfect to use whenever the jetpack can't be used.

It's designed for planet in world with jetpack nerfs.

Features:
  • atomspheric thrusters
  • remote control
  • antenna
  • 2 gyros
  • 2 small cargo containers
  • a bunch of spotlights
  • auto leveling system
  • 2 small reactors
  • 1 large battery

Use reactors to power this platform, if you have uranium or charge batteries by connecting the platform to some rotor.

When Auto leveling is ON, the platform will gently level itself to the gravity vector. You can still turn the platform. If you fall out or can't get back on it, use remote control to bring it down.

Nice use of the neon tubes! I hadn't thought to use a script for auto leveling on my platform design, neat idea!

yeah I do know about the higher altitudes, as for Triton, I tested it in landing site, Even as far as 20-30m below landing site (as I had dug that area)

No, like I said on higher altitudes the air is too thin for atmospheric thrusters.

@Rezun, then it was weird that it didn't work for me, is that Frostbite scenario or Triton added?
Rezun  [author] 12 Oct, 2022 @ 12:13pm
@Cevandri Here's a new screenshot on Triton for you.

Rezun, "Should" yes, Did it? Nope

@Cevandri Triton has 1g. It should be enough as long as the atmosphere is thick enough.
Cevandri 11 Oct, 2022 @ 1:35pm
Rezun, For Frostbite it wasn't enough, Might be due to how small radius it has.

2 thrusters is enough for planets. Why would you want more?

Quite good platform, Just a tad heavy for the 2 thrusters in 1G. I removed the rotor tops of the bottom and added 2 thrusters to the back by removing tires. (One was enough). Very neat little thing, I just wish the antenna didn't stick out that much :D If u ever remake this version, could you make it so it has 3 (or 4) thrusters instead of 2 and antenna not sticking out at the back because it would had been perfect otherwise for my little ramp to it. But it made me able to fly around my base... where my industrial area is....
