MT Bristol Radio Ship

This ship is a modified variant of the torpedo trawler ship by FJwarner. I converted it into a radio ship, removing all weapons (including torpedos).


Backstory:
After WW2, there wasnt much use for the torpedo trawler. It was sold to a scrap yard; but it was never scrapped. A group of people bought it for 800,000 in 1963. It was converted over 4 years into a pirate radio ship, and it set sail in 1967. It had a pretty uneventful career apart from the time it was raided by 30 Sawyer Officials with armed weapons and smashed every piece of radio equipment with a sledgehammer. After the crew left, they set up a temporary radio station and managed to help by a kind fishing trawler which then called in officials from the harbour to take them back and get repaired. It was decommissioned in 1989 due to the Sawyer Anti-Radio Act of 1989. Over 120 radio stations closed that day, but the ship was sold to a fishing trawler service, it had a uneventful career during that time and was sold for scrap in 2008.


There hasn't been much change to this ship other than the fact its now a radio ship. You can find the radio ship beside the kitchen. It no longer has a front bow room, the back room has had its guns removed, any sort of ammo has been removed from the ship aswell as any artillery, it's had a little repaint but nothing too much, just a green floor and a whiter superstructure.
