Overview:
It was converted to a new car body of the same type as the KiHa 40 series by using surplus KiRo 28 bogies and running gear.
In 1986, less than 10 years after the remodeling, the mail and luggage transportation service by rail was discontinued, and the car disappeared by the following year.
