(SV CPU Tier 4, Class 1, Unlock Level 20)

Primary roles: Fighter, Shield, High Gravity, Drone Hatch, Reforged Eden

The Merc-MX6 is a specialized combat fighter meant to take on ground based POI's on high gravity planets (Midnight/Hell Reforged Eden) to loot parts to build auxiliary CPU cores. To do this function it comes stock with the weapons and shield needed to accomplish the task along with decent thrust power and a drone hatch. Also the ship is a bit of extra room for additional 1x2 shield parts and CPU blocks. A total of four 2x1 slots are available in the interior behind some interior doors as well as 2 additional turret mount points (bottom).

Offense and defense

The hull is made with steel. All cargo extensions are behind either hull blocks or thrusters leaving none exposed on the exterior. It comes with 8 plasma guns, 4 laser turrets, 1 minigun turret, and 14K ammo storage. Also it has a heavy shield + 2 chargers and 6 banks bringing the total shield to 4560 HP. It is recommended to back out of combat if your shield is low and return once changed. The ship does have a bit of front protection in the front middle area of the ship but not overall built to take many hits.

Drone Hatch and looting POI's in high gravity:

Once the POI is disabled, you would want to use a drone to loot it. To do that from inside the ship, walk to the front edge of the decal lines on the floor, turn your player so you are facing the back door and hit F5 to deploy your drone. The drone hatch should automatically open with enough space to easily deploy your drone to do all looting. Leaving the ship on foot in high Gravity/nasty environments will lead to severe problems for you player and make looting such POI's very difficult and dangerous. In addition to the hatch, the ship also has a 2nd cockpit inside as an option. If flying using the 1st person cockpit, you can exit and walk (fall) back into the ship quickly thru the drone hatch.

Notes: Do to CPU and the size of ship, it does not have a warp drive and you would need to transport it to the planet area you wish to engage. Simply put the warp drive would not fit and also would blow the CPU for the functions it does need for the task.
