RollCage Racer

Description
On the bleeding edge of rover tech, i bring you my latest prototype design.

This is my take on a Rollcage/Grip: Combat Racing type racer/rover. It uses vanilla large grid 3x3 wheel suspensions with a large to small grid rotor conversion to make a one of a kind small rover frame (survival possible with rotor attatchement)

It Features:
- A gravity aligned cockpit using p3st|cIdE's RotorAlign script. making sure that the cockpit always faces the correct way up (filedetails/?id=2211458232)
- A rotor mounted suspension system that rotates 180 degrees based on which side of the vehicle is facing up with a combination of sensors, timers and MongognoM's Rotor_Velocity_Control script (filedetails/?id=855404295)
- Whip's Subgrid wheel, thruster controller and Gyroscope script

This rover/racer frame is built to flip upside down and just keep going and makes good use of the AirShock feature built ingame to avoid crash landings. The transition is a little slower than it needs to be, so in the future i may tweak the speed of the cockpit or look at transitioning to another script for the rotor wheel assembly

Controls:
Tab 1

1: Parking Brake for subgrid wheels
2. Engage Air Control 10 sec
3. Toggle Booster Thrusters
4-5. View top/bot Camera
6-7. View Rear Camera
8: Toggle Front Mounted Weapons

Tab 2
1: Toggle gravity alignement cockpit script
2-4 manual controls for cockpit rotor
5-6 Manul Override for Suspension orientation

Thanks to Whiplash141 and Tekk for their amazing subgrid wheel script's that makes things like this possible!

atleast not with the rotating suspension setup aswell, since they need a lot of space to fit

I dont think its plausible to make a rotating cockpit in a small grid size that is any smaller than this one, the 5x5 small wheels are just too small and the 1x1 large wheel is about the same size as the 5x5 wheel, then the 3x3 large wheel is just massive.

Definately not what I was expecting but it was still pretty cool to drive. From the screenshot and no point of reference I was expecting a much smaller vehicle and not a race car with a walk in bathroom. It's huge! After my initial shock of the size I did get into driving the beast a fair bit, it's cool looking and very well designed IMO. Well done mate.

It does require scripts to function yes, if you cant use scripts you would have to group the suspension and assign shortcuts for throttle up/down and steering

I'm having trouble getting the car to work, Is there a certain script you need to mess with before you can drive it?
