Description
Makes turret barrels very big (practically infinite) and free to rearm. Affects all vanilla and modded turrets
, except it doesn't affect like half of the modded turrets as was pointed out in the comments, so maybe don't use this unless you are somehow still playing 1.3 or 1.4, idk about 1.5.
Doesn't affect mortars or non-turret buildings.

Difference from other mods:
  • this used to say that it reliably picks all turrets without picking any non-turrets
  • no harmony patches running in the background, no performance impact, all changes applied using xml patching during startup

Issues
  • there are no mod settings so if you wanted to choose specific turrets to be infinite, you can't
  • apparently VFE flame thrower turrets explosion size becomes huge as was pointed out in the comments
  • doesn't affect More Vanilla Turrets, Defensive Machine Gun Turret Pack, and Rimsenal - Security Pack. so basically this doesn't work with any of the major turret mods lmao (im pretty sure it used to but this changed in 1.5 or 1.6)

@JoeOwnage hi, thanks for the report, I see that my patch doesnt see those turrets because they don't have ShootingAccuracyTurret, and those are the major turret mods too... I was kinda hoping my patches would just work on all turrets without me having to maintain anything. I also haven't touched modding in years except changing the tag to 1.5 and 1.6 so I don't even remember half of the stuff and I probably wont be actively updating my mods unless I start playing rimworld, which I will because of 1.6 performance improvements are insane, but anyway, I don't feel like updating this for now, but if you make a new mod I will change my description to a link to it, since not supporting major turret mods basically defeats the purpose of this mod

Hey test I made a continued version of this that is no longer needed, I will de-list it. I was thinking of adding compatibility with the manned gun complexes from More Vanilla Turrets, Defensive Machine Gun Turret Pack, and Rimsenal - Security Pack.

Do you have any interest in that or should I just make a patch mod?

@Arty Aeterna I can set the value to like 999999 but it just looks weird in-game. So I set it to a 10000 where it still looks normal, it won't run out of ammo ever because it also changes fuel multiplier to 10000 and consumption rate to 0.01, and there was some reason why I didn't set it to 0 that I don't remember,

I am just curios, would it be possible to make it actually infinit like the other mod? (that is currently outdatet tho and breaks every turret in the game)

btw Im pretty sure you can't add 1.5 tag to steam workshop page without adding it to the mod, so when that happens its likely because steam is pretty inconsistent at updating mods for some reason. From what I can tell verifying game cache seems to update all workshop mods
