Mod Info:
This music pack brings the gritty, fast-paced soundtrack(s) of Tripwire's horror FPS Killing Floor, and its original iteration KF Mod, to XCOM 2. Slaughter hordes of alien invaders and rid the Earth of the Elders' scourge to 51 exhilarating tracks of heavy industrial metal, brought to you by primary composer Dan Nassick, a.k.a. 'zYnthetic'.

*NOTE: This music pack also includes tracks from the original KF Mod and additional cut/bonus tracks by zYnthetic that didn't make the final cut for Killing Floor. Songs that are not officially part of the Killing Floor OST will be marked with a "*" at the end.

Killing Floor is probably one of the only games that I've ever felt actual dread/fear whilst playing, and the soundtrack plays a huge factor into that. The calmer tracks are excellent at building tension and anticipation, while the much more aggressive combat tracks get your heart pumping - making fights feel intensely high-stakes. I especially recommend using this music pack if you enjoy pain, playing on harder difficulties, and/or playing with mods that greatly buff the Lost and ADVENT forces.

Issues & Notes:

- If you install the mod and you find that music refuses to play whilst in combat, try deleting your 'Config' file under this pathway: C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame. Next, run XCOM 2 a couple of times to regenerate the 'Config' folder and the music should play just fine.

- For whatever reason MMS does not support 'mission complete' or 'after-action' music, and will therefore default to the base game soundtrack 9 times out of 10. In some cases it is possible for after-action music to play, however such instances are rare and sporadic.

- Music stutters during drops in FPS. There is nothing I can do to change that.

- MMS music packs & custom music mods in general have a habit of playing over cutscenes. This one is no different unfortunately.

- MMS is not fully compatible with LW2; songs from this pack may fail to play.

- I had to get a little creative with some of these tracks in order to make them loop correctly/cleanly, so some music may sound different to how it does in the original Killing Floor soundtrack.

- Sadly, I could not include the tracks by Dirge due to there being no decent quality downloads available online.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my mod. Have a great day, and may God bless you.

You certainly live up to your name, lol.

If the mod isn’t working properly then you should try the fix I’ve left under the “Issues and Notes” section. It’s common for MMS and other music packs to not work correctly after first install when playing campaigns with multiple mods.

the music on the avenger doesn't play but it plays everywhere else. Garbage mod.

Thanks, sorry again for troubling you. Not many would have gone to such a length to help with such a non-issue and I really appreciate that.

Alright, here are the uncooked .UPK mod packages: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17x4sk22ijQ63spulSqxjV5OrnY6P53-_/view?usp=sharing
Had to recover them from my recycle bin, but the sound cues/nodes should still work properly.

That'd be great, thanks.

@Tom The mod packages have been cooked to reduce file size, so that's probably why you can't access them. I could send you the uncooked .UPK if you'd like so you can see all the song cues for yourself.

Hey, I was trying to prune a few songs I don't particularly care for by commenting them out in the ini files.

If it's not too much trouble, would it be possible to have a list of what song correlates to each music cue?

I hate to pester you for this, but I found the mod files in my steam workshop folder and tried to open the upk package to check the music cues myself but the xcom 2 editor crashes everytime i try to open that upk in specific. So I was unable to find the songs to music cues myself.
