1st Bn., 75th Ranger Regiment
Karkand, Nowheraki


75th Ranger Fireteams have inserted by Blackhawk near a hotel housing a high-ranking Forbidden Tree officer.

Capture the HVT and eliminate the Insurgents present.

[Backstory]
Karkand is a coastal Industrial city in Nowheraki. After the defeat and withdrawal of Security Forces, it was seized and settled in by insurgents. It's now the de-facto capital for the terrorist group Forbidden Tree, and a hotbed of insurgent groups.
A Coalition-led operation, "Diligent Justice", has been launched to strike the city, take it back from insurgent forces, and return it to Nowheraki hands.

It fits the mission background that you wrote, and I respect the decision to change things up with the map design.

Wasn’t sure if it was a bug/oversight, though. So I’d recommend including a note about major departures in level design if you do the same in any future maps.

For the extraction point, I didn't include one since I wanted people to clear the entire hotel instead of just bagging the HVT and nopeing out. Not sure if I'll go back and add one in.

Cool map! But I can't seem to find the extraction point for the HVT? Where is it? I succeeded on my 1st attempt by killing all hostiles, but I would have preferred an extraction point where my troops start. Also an escape point would add a nice challenge. Please don't add reinforcements as someone suggested. Their spawning into the map has happened right next to my troops so often, it's really no fun until the reinforcements system is made smater and only spawns them "out of sight" and away from the troops.

Enjoyed the map, definitely one for keeping. Feels good to approach the building from the well designed streets, with the city being retaken in the background. Many options of entry and enemies were balanced enough for different styles of play.

You could trigger a small squad of enemies to spawn in the alley to the East a few seconds after catching the HVT or entering his room. Then have them guard the road and place an extraction point at the bottom of the map.

Again, very nice design. The IRL storm in the background really brought it to life on my end.
