Psycast Electrified

Description
Psycasts Electrified adds a new way to obtain psylinks plus a few small additions to make psycasts a bit more electrified


This mod adds a new meditation focus: Electrical. Pawns cannot gain this meditation focus naturally, only by installing an electrical charging ear. Currently, there is only one type of charging ear and one meditation bench for this focus type.

Charging Bench: Currently uses the graphics of a machining table and is locked behind microelectronics research. Requires power to allow meditation, gives 22% meditation, with a additional 2% per nearby building up to a max of 4 buildings.

The charging bench also adds two new features: Electrical Overload and Electrical Superload.

Electrical Overload: Uses a portion of your stored power in batteries to immediately charge a pawns psyfocus to 100%. Using this will give the Pawn a few burn. The more psyfocus gained the more burns/severity of burn they will get.

Electrical Superload: Uses a very large amount of stored power to give the pawn a psylink. This gives the pawn more severe/higher number of burns.

Charging ear: A craftable prosthetic ear that has 95% efficiency and prevents passive psyfocus loss via it's battery. This ear allows pawns to meditate electrically. While meditating electrically the ear will fill it's battery. The pawn can also manually be ordered to fill the battery to keep it charged when their psyfocus is already full.

Neural Heatsink: A craftable prosthetic ear that has 95% efficiency and amplifies neural heat dissipation by 25.

Compatibility and Balance
This mod should be compatible with any psycast mod, and I have tested and it seems to be fully compatible with Vanilla Psycasts Expanded.

Almost all percentages are changeable via options. Adding new buildings to the Charging Bench is just a few lines of xml, just let me know what buildings you want from other mods or add them yourself!

Additional Notes
Please report any bugs/give suggestions! The art for the charging table may be changed in the future, I tried to make my own but it looked so bad I was ashamed for even trying. Balancing is subject to change.

Maybe instead of just an ear, maybe it could be another kind of implant? Like an electrical port for the back of the head? I dunno. Just wanna be creative.

@イムカ I will look into this, I believe it's because VPE requires you to unlock focus types by points. I should be able to make a patch

Doesn't seem to work with psycasts expanded the meditation type doesn't unlock when the ear is installed...

@the guy who asked As far as I know it is, I don't use that mod. I read into what it changes and it seems to be compatible, aside from my mod maybe not having a meditation icon for VPE. If you try it and discover otherwise please let me know!

@m11kire I'm definitely not sure, the code just applies the hediffs. I'd have to see how they do burn immunity
