- Introducing the LM8909/C! -

The Hal & Davidson LM-8909/C is an SOLAS freefall lifeboat system, offering a compact, reliable, lifesaving alternative equipped with everything to be desired. With a maximum capacity of 7 persons (including helmsman), at 14 feet, the LM-8909 ranks at one of the smallest market lifeboats, while rating high in safety. Designed for use aboard the smaller spectrum of commercial vessels, and rated for arctic and sub-arctic conditions, the LM-8909 is self-righting, equipped with an automatic bilge pump, transponder & recovery systems, and satellite-geolocation system allowing ease of navigation in any conditions. Enough supplies are carried on-board to sustain seven people for up to two weeks.

AUG 20th UPDATE: Switched launch trigger from a lockable button to two "launch keys," after arming the system, press and hold both keys simultaneously (using both e & q) to initiate launch. This prevents accidental release.
