Description
Adds the Arakkoa race from Blizzard's World of Warcraft. Includes a playable Arakkoa race faction, a friendly tribal Arakkoa faction and an optional enemy tribal Arakkoa faction. Also, naturally, contains Arakkoa backstories :)

This mod is intended to be simple and vanilla-friendly, just like the average race mod.

Includes the Cursed Arakkoa xenotype for owners of the Biotech DLC



Arakkoa, or heirs of Arak - their ancestral homeland, are a species of colourful, large humanoid birds with wings and two sets of limbs, who partially resemble a corvid. Their creator, the phoenix goddess Rukhmar, had made them many, many years ago, after which they successfully conquered their whole world with the help of their magical prowess, combining light, arcane and void magic schools. They used the same magic confluence to create knowledge-keeping crystals called Apexis, named after their civilisation.

To humans they appear androgynous. They are slender with large pectoral muscles to facilitate flight. Their bodies are covered in feathers, including their wings and tail.

They are highly intelligent and are supposedly able to perfectly imitate a speaker's language just by listening for a while. However, their three slender fingers and unwieldy wings make them less suitable for manual labour.

To do:
•Tweak Arakkoa trader stock to be more interesting (1.4 changed the way stock is generated. I haven't looked yet if it's easily modified)
•Add more names and backstories

Known issues (will fix later):
Immortals can spawn with joywires
Immortals can be body purists
Immortals can rarely spawn with a wrong backstory

Hey Intrspace... it's not that no one wants it. I haven't played for a few months while waiting for the new DLC. I literally just came back today and this mod was the second that I checked the status on. This is my first chance to say I look forward to an update, and I always play with this race.You're appreciated, even if we don't always say it. Thank you.

I'm disappointed that no one asked me to update this. I would have had it ready by the DLC launch. But yes an update is coming :cozybrawlhalla7::happy_seagull:

Update : Steam was lagging and taking its time to install it seems. Now all looks proper.

An update would be appreciated. It's fun to fight several factions from different franchises and a simple mod like this means that I don't have to scan for compatibility issues.
