Lakewood Amusement Park

Description
This small amusement park nestled in the woods was once the pride and joy of the locals. Sadly, the local tourism market wasn't enough for this park to survive. Eventually, the park defaulted on it's loans and the park was closed. It has sat abandoned for nearly 15 years.

The surrounding area has grown since then and investors are eager to bring this park back to life to make it a thriving regional park. The locals would love to see as much of the park restored to its former glory. You've been tasked to clean it up, repair the damage, and bring new life to this once beautiful park.

Update 11/4/22: Added trash and rides broken down.
Update 3/16/23: Removed most of the tall grass that made the game lag.

Scenario:
• <indent=0.7em>Have a decoration rating of at least 85%</indent>
• <indent=0.7em>Have a cleanliness rating of at least 90%</indent>
• <indent=0.7em>Have an overall park rating of at least 90%</indent>
• <indent=0.7em>Sell at least 500 park tickets</indent>
• <indent=0.7em>Optional: Have no loan debts</indent>
• <indent=0.7em>Optional: Sell at least 2,000 park tickets</indent>
• <indent=0.7em>Optional: Complete all non-optional goals by the end of December, Year 3</indent>

Notes: Mods were used to achieve this dilapidated overgrown look. Heavy use of grass will push computer resources. Workshop items created by other players were also utilized in this creation. I do not take credit for them.

Played through the new version. Lots of fun for my friend and I, no problems this time around. We won all objectives + optional, Year 3, August. :) The level of detail was amazing. Kept finding all the little touches all over the park. :) :cozybethesda:

Thank you all for the feedback! I have gone in an removed the majority of the tall grass to make this more playable. Please check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks!

This scenario is gorgeous. You clearly put tons of time and care into it; the rickety, delapidated feeling of all the buildings is fantastically detailed. The pile of trash by the loading dock made me laugh. The uprooted tree into the pond, the angled support columns, its all great.

But echoing other comments, you might have gone overboard. All of the tall grass requires alot of computer resources; someone with a mediocre computer can play this game just fine, this scenario makes it lag bad. Also, the tall grass is very tedious to remove.

I was going to criticize starting with an existing scenario, but you've put so much additional work into it that I actually don't mind. I think if you can remake the scenario with less grass, it would work better.

Interesting concept but unplayable because of all of the grass you added.

I love the idea of this map and it looks great, but my PC lagged hard trying to play it. :(

I love scenarios where a lot of fixing is needed (all the wat back to Ivory Towers ;-) ). Will definitely give this one a try!
