Description
This mod aims to add new unique and dynamic NPC dialogue to Terraria to make it a more immersive experience.

NPC's will begin to react to things you are wearing, objects in the room, and potentially anything else in the world.

You may not notice this mod at first, but as I add more new dialogue I'm sure you'll find yourself noticing it from time to time.


Supported Languages:
Russian (русский)
Chinese (中文)
Spanish (Español)

Currently there are over 530 new lines of dialogue added across each NPC.
Some examples are:
- NPCs will talk more on why they like and dislike others
- NPCs might ask about other NPCs you just interacted with
- Some NPCs may ask you to put different things in their rooms
- Some NPCs will comment on things they asked you to put in their room
- Talking to NPC's while wearing the Umbrella Hat during the rain
- Wearing Rich Mahogany armor around the Dye Trader
- The Wizard mistaking you for other NPCs when wearing their costume
- The Truffle seeing you in the Mushroom Costume
- The Goblin Tinkerer reacting to the Hermes Boot upgrade path
- The Guide noticing you collecting some early game gear
- and so many more!

v0.28 is out now, I've been working on a new system for the mod that I'm calling Wandering Dialogue.

As of now, this is a couple messages for the Guide that will be sent to chat when a player is close to him. There is a 10% chance for this to happen, and then he'll wait some time before saying something else. Looking for any feedback or suggestions for this ad I continue work on this system. v0.27 is out now, focused on more early game dialogue with some paintings and workstations. Hoping to continue expanding on the room-based dialogue more, be sure to send more ideas my way!

Does this mod have compatibility with Turtle's Li'L Dragon Race mod? I'm playing as one and the Dryad mentioned "my species".

I feel like NPCs should talk about the people they love a little more. Maybe I'm ignorant and haven't seen it yet, but Idk I think it would be nice.

Also this mod is genuinely amazing and I love it so much

they should react to transformations! also if you could maybe they can react to the elemental transformations in calamity vanities?

Spirit mod and the Edorbis mod have a handful of npcs that could benefit from more dialogue, recommend checking those out!
